Immersive Haptic Transducer w/ Multi-Directional Mounting Bracket
Game changer - donāt be intimidated.
I was fairly nervous whether Iād be able to correctly setup/use these things as I had 0 experience with even the concept. It ended up being so easy and making a tremendous difference. I have this installed onto a recliner, I literally just screwed it into the wood of the chair frame (vertically), and I put (separately bought ) rubber feet on each corner of the recliner to isolate it from the floor. Wiring wise, itās just like any other subwoofer - I had a cheap 300w subwoofer amp from Amazon, and I almost never get the volume above 25-30%.
I had tried a smaller unit earlier, which was decent, but tended to overdrive/bottom out because it was too small (mass) for my chair. This is probably sufficient to shake a small couch and is more than enough for my recliner.
It adds to movies and is pretty enjoyable overall being able to feel gunshots and bangs and suchā¦but gamesā¦this is where itās a night/day difference. I am primarily using headphones and I miss the punch/slam from using a speakers and subwoofer. This was my solution, will never go back now.
