My New 11.2 Dolby Atmos Home Theater

I really love them. My only complaint is that: no where’s in all my research did it mention mounting them on the FLOOR JOIST in our new theater room. I would have ordered probably 6 more and mounted them under the floor. The 8 that I ordered I’m having a steel shop make 1/4 plate steel chair adapters/3/8” bolt holes drilled for the chairs.

I have been a faithful Buttkicker for years. I have a friend who has 75 rocking

Real theater chairs and she said take all you need. Her and X-husband owned 2 large theaters in NYC. She said I can have any amount I want for free. I’ll just take a dozen and make 2 rows of six each. The 4 end chairs won’t have Buttkickers. They won’t need them, ha,ha. Thanks for making such a product. I don’t have to go to Disney to get their VIBS in their chairs.

My home theater will be finished mid-summer. Have a good day.

Hold on to your seat

Amazing response in a small package. Hard to believe something so compact can outperform it's entire competitive market. There's not a better one out there

Great for the low low haptics

So far, it's doing a great job of adding impact to my system without drawing attention to itself. I'm fairly new to tactile transducers. The LFE is very strong from about 7hz to about 25hz. I've tried mid-sized transducers and they seem to add a lot in the 20-40hz range, but really drop off below 15hz. I'm finding the two work very well in combination. When running test tones, you can bottom the LFE out in the single digits, but I haven't had this happen during actual listening. I have it mounted in a 3 seat couch. I'm using one channel of a Behringer NX3000 which is 2ohm stable, so, I'm plotting my wiring diagrams to run it in parallel with an array of smaller transducers to bring the ohm load down, get more power out of the amp, get the best of the low lows from the LFE and the upper tactile from the smaller transducers. I've heard complaints that the LFE is slow. Tactile base in the single digit Hz is inherently slow. I'm having fun fine tuning the integration with my system. But, if your not a tinkerer, get a professional to install and calibrate.
