I'm so glad I worked through the various issues I had integrating this into my system. It works very well and adds to the experience in my 5.1.4 setup. Everyone i demo this for loves it. I find myself smiling when I watch movies. Last night I watched Ford vrs Ferrari and that inspired me to leave this review.

Some things to consider... The amp is set at 100hz which is way too high for movies. I ended up buying a 50hz FMOD RCA crossover and that smoothed things out.

The couch kit didn't work for me. This thing hits so hard it was lifting my LoveSac couch which resulted in some intense (almost scary) flapping on the floor. I would have returned it for this reason. Instead, I drilled some holes and mounted it directly to the couch base. Problem solved!

Came as described. The mounts help with the rattle on the floor. Easy to put kicker on mount plate. Rounds out surround system completley.

I can't believe the kit didn't include a crossover! If someone, like me, is piggybacking on the subwoofer out port, you get undesirable vibrations in your seating. I purchased a passive crossover for ~$15 from Amazon, and was able to eliminate the higher bass frequencies that were not supposed to be tactile. That suggests to me that the amp you sell was not purpose-built for this use. I am very disappointed that I had to troubleshoot and fix a problem that shouldn't have existed in the first place.

Also, you really need a dimmer on the amp! The LED display is way too bright! Who wants a bunch of Red, green, and I believe yellow lights glaring from a device in their nice, dark home theater room?

I bought 2 butt kicker couch kits & it’s added another fun dimension to the experience when listening to music. I imagine it would give a “wow factor” for movies & games too. Nice product. Thanks!
