This is one of those things that you could probably DIY but the price of the kit is so low that it’s not really worth it. By not DIY-ing you get a kit that is very well designed to exactly fullfill it’s goal: make sure the buttkicker has a solid connection to a Playseat frame. This kit does that very well. I get excellent transfer of vibration into the seat and it’s not rattle-y at all like my previous attempts were. The playseat with a solidly attached buttkicker is exceptionally good. Very convincing and adds way more than one would expect to the simulation experience.

Your investing in a new piece of kit for your racing rig. You've Spent the money on a BUTTKICKER product. Don't pinch pennies here. Get the kit for your Playseat Adapter. Its simple, well machined, and looks like a proper installation. Not to mention top quality. It also transfers the maximum amount of vibration to the Playseat. Guys you can do it cheaper with a deep socket and a bolt. BUT WHY! If your like me, you've spent hundreds even thousands of dollars on your racing rig. Your rig and you are worth the expense.

Buttkicker GamerPro has only one mounting option (as far as I can tell) and that is to some cylindrical or rectangular bar. Larger extruded frame rails, like myTrakRacer 80 have no logical mounting point without a specific bracket added. I purchaced adapter kit in the hopes the cylinder could be bolted to the t-slot frame rail. Bolt was too long, so used washers to get a good fit. Cylinder rotated allowing BK Gamer Pro to loosen and buzz. Final option was to purchase expensive, purpose built bracket from TrakRacer.

I purchased this to attach my Buttkicker to my playseat. Unfortunately, it doesn't in any way work out of the box with mine. It works only for a specific version of their racer seat. The including instructions are TERRIBLE and give no guidance at all. I drilled a hole in mine to connect the adapter. Would have to drill more to connect the feet. This kit is poorly designed, poorly documented, and overpriced.
